Paramobile: Wheelchair-Adaptive Golf Cart at Crab Meadow
The Paramobile, a wheelchair-adaptive golf cart, is available at Crab Meadow Golf Course and it allows our mobility-challenged golfers to enjoy the most beautiful 18-hole public golf course on Long Island!
The Long Island Chapter of the Stand Up and Play Foundation donated the Paramobile to the Town in 2017. It straps playersd in securely, lifting the player to a standing position to swing a golf club from a natural stance.
Golf provides great therapeutic benefits for physically-limited players; it stimulates the metabolism, stretches muscles, reduces spasms and enhances joint mobility.
A lesson is required to use the Paramobile; contact Crab Meadow Golf Course PGA Professional Tom Herzog for a lesson at 631-757-8800 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
