As of 12/9/2024 the parks and recreation office at Town Hall will be closed for renovation. We will still be available to answer any questions at our regular phone number(631-351-3089). Golf and Recreation ID cards will still be available at the Dix hills ice rink. The Parks office will reopen the week of 1/2/2025. We regret any inconvenience.

 Welcome to the website for the Town of Huntington Department of Parks and Recreation. We welcome our residents to visit our beautiful parks, pool and recreational facilities. Throughout the year we provide new and exciting programs and events at our facilities.

We have a wide variety of recreational programs for our residents of all ages, from preschoolers to senior citizens at our town operated facilities, parks and beaches. From instructional programs and sports leagues to public ice skating and summer camps, there is something for everyone. As these programs vary seasonally, check our website to keep up to date on our upcoming program activities and events.

We offer a resident Recreation /Golf I.D. cards which offer discounts on Parks & Recreation Department programs, admission to the ice rink, swimming pool, Town of Huntington golf courses, and free entry into the spray park.
