Nutrition Programs

Employees are on-hand to answer phone calls from residents: Monday-Friday 631.351.3253, 8:30 am-4:30 pm.

The Senior Center, located at 423 Park Avenue in Huntington, provides nutritious meals for Huntington and Suffolk County residents over the age of sixty.

Our talented kitchen staff prepares an average of 350 nutritious meals a day for our Senior Center, Adult Day Care, and Home Delivered Meal Programs. The Center Manager and Cook select the menu of the day. Suffolk County Office for the Aging dietitians scrutinize the menu to insure it provides one-third senior’s daily nutritional requirements. 

The Nutrition Center is sponsored by the Town of Huntington with funding provided by U.S. Administration for Community Living through New York State Office for the Aging and Suffolk County Office for the Aging.
