Change of Zone Application

A zone change application replaces the existing zoning district that the Town Board has established for your property with a new zoning district.  This permanently alters the allowable uses of the land and the required dimensions for the lot and buildings.  This is different than an application for a variance or special use permit to the Zoning Board of Appeals, which seeks to legalize a specific use or noncompliance with height, area, or setback requirements.
