Women’s Advisory Council

The Women’s Advisory Council (WAC) is composed of over sixty (60) prominent not-for-profit agencies dedicated to substantive women’s issues. Many of these agencies focus on issues such as domestic violence, housing, breast cancer, physical and mental health support services, job training, employment, child and family services, arts and education, among others.

Women’s Advisory Council Members work in a united effort to create civic consciousness through unity and coordination of activities, programs, and events; encourage and aid in the development of our community, exchange ideas, inspire participation in community, state, and national affairs and network with other women’s organizations and businesses.
