Women Services

The Town of Huntington Division of Women’s Services is committed to helping the not-for-profit organizations to become familiar with, utilize, enhance, and integrate the services provided by the Town of Huntington.

In furtherance of that goal, the Division of Women’s Services created the Women’s Advisory Council (WAC) as a vehicle to familiarize Huntington residents with the many not-for-profit agencies available to them. WAC is composed of over sixty (60) prominent not-for-profit agencies dedicated to substantive women’s issues. Many of these agencies focus on issues such as domestic violence, housing, breast cancer, physical and mental health support services, job training, employment, child and family services, arts and education, among others.
