Women Services

The Town of Huntington Division of Women’s Services is committed to helping the not-for-profit organizations to become familiar with, utilize, enhance, and integrate the services provided by the Town of Huntington.

In furtherance of that goal, the Division of Women’s Services created the Women’s Advisory Council (WAC) as a vehicle to familiarize Huntington residents with the many not-for-profit agencies available to them. The WAC is comprised of over sixty (60) prominent not-for-profit agencies dedicated to substantive women’s issues. Many of these agencies focus on issues such as domestic violence, housing, breast cancer, small business start-ups, employment and glass ceiling/pay equity issues, child and family services, arts and education, among others.

Town Residents who require further information regarding the Town of Huntington Division of Women’s Services or Women’s Advisory Council may contact Julia Frangione at (631) 351-3253.
