Introduction to Transportation Innovation

The introductory presentation was given twice - first on May 11, 2021 (for the South Huntington, Cold Spring Harbor and Harborfields Library residents), and second on May 19, 2021 (for the Elwood Library residents). This first installment in the series provided an introduction that explained the impact of transportation on GHG emissions (see HERE for a link to the presentation). This webinar described the extensive green mobility options in the Town, including local train, bus, EV charging, bike rentals, EV last mile, walking routes and more. Information was reinforced through a fun game of Sustainable Transit BINGO. Lucky winners received a $50 gift card to a Huntington restaurant of their choice.
