Green Huntington

Our overarching vision for Green Huntington is a range of choices that integrate sustainability into the many aspects of our daily lives.  This, of course, includes the Town and our own facilities and operations, but it extends as well to the actions of our residents and local businesses.

Embracing sustainability begins with a simple change in perspective, the recognition that it is the cumulative effect of many seemingly small actions taken by many people consistently and over an extended period of time that results in change.

Every Town employee, business and resident has the power to make a difference.   A world with Cleaner Air, Cleaner Water and a Carbon Footprint we can live with is within our collective grasp.
