The Town offers a variety of golf programs and lessons for enthusiasts of different abilities and interests.

Crab Meadow Golf Course (18-hole) on Waterside Avenue in Northport is a championship Par 72 facility.  The course measures 6,598-yards from the Blue tees (rating 71.8) and 5,658-yards from the Red tees (rating 69.9).  

Crab Meadow GC features a clubhouse with a restaurant and bar, locker room (lockers can be rented on a seasonal basis), driving range, putting green, electric and pull carts for rent and a large parking area. Dix Hills Park Golf Course (9-hole) is located on Vanderbilt Parkway east of Deer Park Road in Dix Hills. It plays to 1,930-yards from the Men's tees (Par 31)  and 1,882-yards from the Lady's tees (Par 32). The complex features a Practice Range, Putting Green, and Pro Shop. (Electric golf carts and pull carts are available.)
