Opioid & Addiction Task Force
The Opioid & Addiction Task Force is composed of ten or more members serving four-year terms concurrent with the term of their appointing Town Board member. Each Town Board member appoints two members, with the option to appoint a third member in exceptional circumstances. The members of the Task Force select from among their own membership a Chair and Vice-Chair on an annual basis. The Town Attorney, Director of Human Services, Director of the Community Development Agency, Director of Public Safety, and Director of the Huntington Drug & Alcohol Counseling Center, or their representatives, serve as ex-officio members.
