Please be advised that there will be a public hearing at Huntington Town Hall on Wednesday, February 25 at 9:00am to hear public comment on the following Proposed Tax Exemptions:
- Resolution 2026-96 (Tax Exemption for Surviving Spouse of Police Officers Killed in the Line of Duty)
- Resolution 2026-97 (Tax Exemption for Surviving Spouse of Fire Fighters Killed in the Line of Duty)
- Resolution 2026-98 (Tax Exemption for Certain Persons Performing Active Military Duty in A Combat Zone)
- Resolution 2026-99 (Partial Real Property Tax Exemption for Qualified Senior Citizens)
Applications are now being accepted. If the Town Board enacts these exemptions, they will be processed accordingly.
