On Sunday afternoon, Supervisor Ed Smyth and the Town of Huntington hosted a 9/11 commemorative service at Town Hall to honor the lives lost in the September 11, 2001 terror attacks. Families, residents, veterans, and local officials came together in remembrance.
The ceremony honored the 43 Huntington residents who were among the thousands killed. A bell was rung as each name was read aloud, with a rose placed in their memory.
We will never forget.
