Important Schedule Updates & Department News

The Department of Environmental Waste Management would like to advise all residents about the trash and recycling collection schedule changes due to the Memorial Day, May 26th, 2025.

Trash Collection:

• Trash collection is canceled on Monday, May 26th due to the holiday. Residents who normally get their trash collected on Mondays will be permitted to dispose of twice the amount of trash on their second collection day of the week: Thursday, May 29th.

• Trash collection begins at 6:00 A.M. Please put these materials out prior to The start time, preferably the night before pickup.

• Tuesday and Friday collection routes are scheduled as normal without interruption.
  

Recycling Collection:

• Recycling for bottles and cans will be collected on Wednesday, May 28th for all residents.
  
• Recycling collection begins at 5:00 A.M. Please put these materials out prior to The start time, preferably the night before pickup.
  

Yard Waste Collection:

• There will be no yard waste collection scheduled for the week of May 26th.
