Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts

Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts is one of the nation’s preeminent not-for-profit summer day-school for the arts. Its mission is to provide children with the foundation to sustain a lifetime interest in the arts, a mission realized through instruction by a world-class faculty and the camaraderie of fellow students who share their love of the arts. Usdan has been declared a “Best Of” camp by TimeOutNY/Kids, and by NY Metro Parents and been profiled in The New York Times and in Time Magazine.

Each summer, some 1,600 students, ages 4 – 18, travel daily by bus from neighborhoods throughout the New York metropolitan area to Usdan’s 140-acre woodland campus in Huntington. Usdan offers 100 programs of study in Music, Dance, Theater, Visual Art, Nature and Gardening, Creative Writing and Chess. Students also attend Usdan’s daily series of Festival Concerts, presented by distinguished artists from around the world.
