The Heckscher Museum of Art is located in Huntington’s Heckscher Park (corner of Prime Avenue and Route 25A).
The Museum and Park were gifted to the people of Huntington nearly a century ago by the late financier and philanthropist August Heckscher and his wife Nannie A. Heckscher.
Accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, the Heckscher seeks to improve the lives of those who visit with exceptional and varied educational programs, art exhibitions and the display of works from the Heckscher’s Permanent Art Collection. |
