Coltrane Home

American jazz musician, John Coltrane, lived on a quiet residential street in Dix Hills during the last years of his life. In this home he composed his greatest work, “A Love Supreme” as well as all of his last works, considered by many to be his greatest and most stirring.

The Town Board has designated this home a historic landmark.
