The Department of Environmental Waste Management would like to advise all residents of changes to the trash and recycling schedule due to Election Day.
Trash Collection:
- On Tuesday, November 3, trash collection is cancelled due to Election Day. This collection is not being rescheduled.
- Residents on Tuesday and Friday trash pickup routes will be permitted to dispose of twice the amount of household trash on Friday, November 6.
- Please put your trash out to the curb no earlier than 6:00pm the night before. Collection begins at 6:00am.
- Monday and Thursday collection routes are scheduled as normal without interruption.
Recycling Collection:
- On Wednesday, November 4, paper and cardboard recycling collection is scheduled for all residents.
- The Town’s Recycling Center is closed Tuesday, November 3 and will reopen Wednesday, November 4.
Yardwaste Collection:
- Yardwaste collection is scheduled for the week of November 2.
