5/17/2026 - LIRR Strike - Northwell Health and NYU Langone Shuttle Options
Important Information from the MTA:
Northwell Health and NYU Langone will offer shuttle services for their employees providing weekend and weekday trips picking up and dropping off at key Long Island and NYC locations.
- Northwell is operating shuttle vans for employees from Lake Success to and from 179th Street-Hillside Avenue to connect to the F Train. Hours of operation are 5:00-8:30am and 7:00pm-1:00am.
- NYU Langone is operating shuttle buses making trips from Nassau Coliseum to Manhattan and Nassau Coliseum to Mineola. Hours of operation are 4:30am-midnight.
- The Mets are operating supplemental shuttle service from points east to Citi Field. Information about their service can be found here: https://www.mlb.com/mets/ballpark/transportation/shuttles
