5/17/2026 - LIRR Strike - Parking Options
Please be advised that during the ongoing Long Island Rail Road strike, the Town of Huntington has designated resident, commuter, and non-resident parking areas at the Huntington LIRR station.
The North and South parking garages are for residents and commuter parking permit holders. Parking Lot 22 is for non-residents and costs $12 per day. Those parking in Lot 22 may pay on the Passport Parking app. Sign up at passportparking.com or download the app. Lot 22 is Zone 11721 on the app.
There will be appropriate signage at the station designating resident/commuter and non-resident parking, as well as rideshare (Uber/Lyft) and car service pick-up and drop-off locations.
