6/1/2025 - Gas-Powered Leaf Blower Restrictions - June 2025
Supervisor Smyth and the Town of Huntington would like to advise residents of gas-powered leaf blower time restrictions for residential areas for the month of June. Hours of usage are as follows:
Landscapers:
- Monday-Friday: 8am-6pm
- No Saturday: Memorial Day – Labor Day*
- No Sundays: Memorial Day – Labor Day*
*Except for performing commercial landscaping services at cemeteries, golf courses, government properties, and public school-owned properties, or in commercial and industrial zones.
Property owners:
- Monday-Friday: 8am 6pm (2-hour maximum use)
- Saturday, Sunday and Holidays: 9am-5pm (1-hour maximum use)
