The Town of Huntington Trash Pick Up and Recycling Calendars have been mailed. If you would like to pick up an additional copy, they are available at Town Hall, the Recycling Center and your local library.
TRASH AND RECYCLING COLLECTION SCHEDULE FOR NEW YEARS WEEK:
Trash Collection:
- Residents on Thursday trash pick-up routes will be collected on Friday January 3rd.
- Residents on Friday trash pick-up routes will be collected on Saturday, January 4th.
- Trash collection begins at 6:00 A.M. Please put these materials out prior to the start time, preferable the night before pickup.
Recycling Collection:
- There will be no recycling collection on January 1st. Paper recycling will be Thursday, January 2nd.
- Recycling collection begin at 5:00 a.m. Please put these items out before the start time, preferably the night before.
Yardwaste Collection:
- This week is a yardwaste collection week.
- PLEASE NOTE: Due to the heavy volume of yard waste set out between November 1st and December 31st, your yard waste collection day will vary. During this time, place your yardwaste at the curb on Sunday evenings.
- Your yard waste can be picked up any day from Monday through Saturday. Please be patient during this peak collection time of the year.
