7/3/2024 - July 4th Holiday: Trash Collection Schedule
The Department of Environmental Waste Management would like to advise all residents about the changes to trash pickup schedule due to the July 4th holiday.
There is no scheduled trash pickup on Thursday, July 4th due to the holiday. This collection has been cancelled and is not being rescheduled. Residents on Monday and Thursday trash pickup routes will be permitted to dispose of twice the amount of household trash on Monday, July 8th. There is no bulk trash pickup on Monday, please hold your bulk trash until Thursday, July 11th.
We would also like to remind all residents that there is no yardwaste scheduled for collection until the week of July 14th.
The Town’s Recycling Center at 641 New York Avenue, Huntington will be closed on Thursday, July 4th. It will be open from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM on Friday, July 5th.
