8/11/2022 - Free Town of Huntington 'Old Skool' Concert at Heckscher Park to Feature Gentlemen of Soul, Pam Carey

Huntington, NY – Huntington Town Supervisor Ed Smyth and the Department of Parks and Recreation will present a free concert featuring performances by Gentlemen of Soul and Pam Carey at Chapin Rainbow State in Heckscher Park on Saturday, August 13 at 7:00 PM.

“Join us on Saturday and dance the night away to the sounds of the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s,” said Supervisor Ed Smyth. “The Gentlemen of Soul and Huntington’s own Pam Carey will bring a musical experience to Heckscher Park that you won't want to miss!”

The Gentlemen of Soul are a New York City-based 3-man vocal group accompanied by a 5-piece band, performing all types of R&B and Top 40 music, spanning all genres of Soul and R&B from the 1970's to 2000's.

The group features New York Veterans Scout Ford, formerly of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and doo-wop legend Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers Revue; Martinez Little, former lead singer of Blue Magic and The Delphonics; and bandleader Lorenzo Bell, current lead singer of R&B singing group Double Exposure.

The opening act will feature local musician, singer and guitarist Pam Carey, a Town of Huntington resident and Department of Information Technology employee.
