Huntington
– Previously scheduled Town of Huntington Planning Board and Zoning
Board of Appeals (ZBA) meetings will continue to be held remotely until
further notice due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Since April 7, the public has been able to listen to Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) meeting audio live on government access TV
channels Optimum 18, FIOS 38 and at HuntingtonNY.gov/meetings
where links to download agendas for all meetings are published ahead of time, containing links where the public may view documents related to items on the agendas; meeting video feeds are available for replay after the meetings take place.
- The Planning Board has not yet determined a process for holding hearings online and therefore has postponed all public hearings until further
notice. Comments on any matter before the Planning Board may continue to be submitted to planning@huntingtonny.gov.
- The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) has created a procedure for an online
hearing process during the COVID-19 pandemic.
