Huntington
– At the request of the fire districts across the Town of Huntington,
Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci broadcasted by robocall on
April 5 the fire districts’ plans to sounds sirens at 7:00 PM to honor
health care workers:
This is Supervisor Chad Lupinacci. Please join the Town of Huntington and the Fire Districts across our Town at 7pm for a health
care provider pep rally at home!
Tonight
at 7 pm, sirens from Fire Districts across the Town of Huntington will
be sounding, along with departments from across
Suffolk County, to show our support for all of the health care providers
working around the clock, caring for those infected with the
coronavirus, and to honor the memory of all those we have lost in this
fight.
At
7pm tonight, open your front doors, cheer, applaud and thank all of the
extraordinary people working on the front lines of
this national pandemic -- our health care providers, police, fire
fighters, ambulance first responders, volunteers who have helped make a
difference at this difficult time, and those who put themselves at risk
to provide essential products and services to our
communities.
Keep safe, stay healthy and for all those who observe, enjoy the rest of this Palm Sunday.
