Huntington Station – The Town of
Huntington and the New York Blood Center are holding a Community Blood Drive in
response to an emergency blood shortage Friday, January 3, from 8:00am to
3:30pm at the Town’s Community Center in the Big H Shopping Center, located at
809 New York Avenue.
“Please donate this life-saving
gift. Local hospitals need your help with the blood shortage Long Island is
facing,” said Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci.
Each donation will help save up to
three lives. Donors will receive a certificate for a FREE Large Sandwich or
Premium Salad at Long Island McDonald's with any purchase.
