Lupinacci visited the newly repaved bocce courts at Mill Dam Park on Friday,
August 24.
“Thank you to Posillico Paving and
Ambrosio Paving for doing an excellent job repaving these courts,” said
Supervisor Lupinacci. “I can’t wait to play a little bocce!”
“I was at the Mill Dam Park bocce
courts yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to see the rough, rocky area
black-topped,” said Peter Rabito, President, American Bocce Club, on Saturday,
August 25. “It looks amazing and I know the members of the American Bocce Club
and Special Olympics are going to be thrilled!”
The bocce courts at Mill Dam Park,
located on Mill Dam Road in Halesite, are used weekly by the American Bocce
Association. The resurfacing project was completed by Posillico and Ambrosio
Paving ahead of a Special Olympics training event taking place Sunday, August
26.
