The local public libraries across the Town of Huntington are partnering with the League of Women Voters to register any U.S. citizen eligible to vote from Monday, August 6, through Friday, August 10.
“Exercise your civic duty and register to vote, so your voice is heard in our local and national elections,” encouraged Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci in the video public service announcement running on the Town’s government access TV channels and social media.
Eligible voters of all ages are welcome. In order to register at any time this year, you must be at least 18 years of age by December 31, 2018. Be sure to bring two forms of government-accepted identification, as well as either your Driver’s License number or Social Security Number.
