[Rain Date: Thurs. August 6th.] Big Hero 6 is an animated adventure about the special bond that develops between an inflatable robot Baymax, and prodigy Hiro Hamada, who team up with a group of friends to form a band of high-tech superheroes.

"This is great family entertainment. Pack up your picnic supper, blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy this summer's movie line-up,” said Councilman Mark Cuthbertson. " Our thanks to Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Jonathan’s Ristorante of Huntington Village and LaCasa at Crab Meadow Beach for co-sponsoring this year’s line-up.”

Unfortunately, our first drive-in movie - “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” might have been rained out, but it has been rescheduled! The new “Rain Date” is Thursday, July 30 at Crab Meadow Beach.

The deadline to vote is Thursday, July 23rd and the winning title will be announced before the drive-in showing of BIG HERO 6.

The three movie choices are:

2) Frozen
3) Maleficent

To vote, please visit the Town’s website at: HuntingtonNY.gov/MovieVote or click on the Movies on the Lawn banner at the bottom of the Town’s homepage.

All movies begin at darkness (between 8:30-9:00 pm). It is suggested that you pack lawn chairs, including the drive-in performances, in the event the drive-in lot fills early. Overflow parking is available and bus service brings people and their belongings to the beach.
