• E-Check* - with a convenience fee of $1.50.
• All Major Credit Cards  - with a convenience fee of  2.95%  of  the amount being charged.
• Debit Card - with a convenience fee of 1.00% of the amount being charged.

IMPORTANT: 

YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION TO MAKE YOUR ONLINE OR PHONE PAYMENT:

1.    Jurisdiction Code:  2012

2.   CURRENT Bill Number  -  **THIS CHANGES EVERY YEAR**

• It is important that you use the correct bill number when making online payments
• On the Tax Bill that is mailed to your house, you can find the bill number on the top right corner of the bill
• On our Website, the bill number is found under "TAX BILLING" 
• The bill number should have a 2 digit number followed by a 6 digit number.  If you are short a digit in either group, add a zero in front of that group.   Ex:  xx-0xxxxx.   You can only pay one bill at a time.  If you have more than one bill, you must pay them in separate transactions, using the unique bill number pertaining to that property. 

3.   Installment number and Amount:  If paying 1st half (due Jan. 10th), choose 1st installment.  If paying 2nd half (due May 31st), choose 2nd  installment.  If you are paying the entire bill, choose both installments. 

*If paying by E-Check, be sure to enter your correct routing and account numbers.  Any error will void your payment and you will incur a $20.00 returned check charge.

Arrears payments must be paid directly to the Suffolk County Comptroller.  

 Print out your CONFIRMATION NUMBER from ACI (OFFICIAL PAYMENTS).

          Go to ACI/OfficialPayments.com                Select "Local Payments"

ALL CONVENIENCE FEES ARE CHARGED BY ACI (OFFICIAL PAYMENTS).

 Please Note:  DISCOVER CARD PAYMENTS made through ACI/Official Payments are 2.95%, however, it may be less expensive (maximum fee of $150) to pay directly in our office with your card or through the mail.  Please fill in your Discover card information on the form enclosed with your tax bill or you can print it out here - Discover Form   and mail to:
