Collection Schedule: Curbside Commercial Pickup

Trash is picked up Monday through Saturday evening in the commercial districts of Huntington and Huntington Station. Town Code directs business owners in these two commercial districts that receive curbside service to place their waste curbside between 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. (no later).

Cardboard and mixed office paper recycling are collected by a separate truck on the same days.

No Pick Up On Sundays!

There is no refuse pick up on Sundays. Trash put out after collection on Saturday evening will not be picked up until Monday evening, almost two days later!

After the trash collection on Saturday evening, trash may not be placed curbside for collection until Monday at 3:00 pm for that afternoon’s collection. Any trash placed curbside prior to 3:00 pm on Monday, can result in fines being issued to the violators.
