Gentle Bends

Place: Senior Center - Entrance by Red Awning

As the name implies, Gentle Bends is an age appropriate exercise class for seniors. This workout was developed 50 years ago as a National program to keep people in good physical condition as they age. This activity works on every muscle and joint in the body, to maintain and increase flexibility and strength. Set to music, one third is done standing, one third is done sitting and the final third is a resistance workout. It ends with a cool down meditation. Folding chairs will be placed in a horseshoe in the gymnasium for participants.
