Lupinacci welcomes resident input on the 2019 Preliminary
Budget
at the public hearing on the budget, which will be held at Town Hall on Monday,
November 5, 2018 at 7:00 PM.
At its October 23 meeting, Town
Board scheduled the public hearing for Monday, November 5, 2018 at 7:00 PM for
the 2019 Preliminary
Annual Operating Budget and 2019 Preliminary Capital Budget.
In the spirit of transparency,
Supervisor Lupinacci has added a new step to the budget process, including
presentations to the Town Board and the public on budget estimates from the
Comptroller’s office and the Departments of Environmental Waste Management,
General Services, Engineering Services, Maritime Services, Parks and
Recreation, Transportation and Traffic Safety, Human Services, Youth Bureau,
Public Safety, and Planning and Environment.
The budget hearing and presentations
will be live-streamed on the Town’s website and government
access TV channels, Optimum 18 and FIOS 38, on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 7:00
PM.
The 2019 Preliminary Annual
Operating Budget and Preliminary Capital Budget can be found on the Town

The Preliminary Budget for 2019 must
be adopted by November 20.
