The Huntington Opportunity Resource Center will host a special meeting May 5 at which the developer of the Highland Green Residence limited equity cooperative will offer assistance in completing applications to be entered in the lottery for the 117 affordable units on Ruland Road in Melville.
The session will run from 6 to 8 p.m. at the center, 1268 New York Avenue, Huntington Station.
The two-story town home community is nearing completion and the lottery for the units is expected to be held sometime in June. An information sheet, including income eligibility levels, and the application can be downloaded here. Interested persons can also obtain information by calling the developer at 516-437-0900 ext. 20.
