Huntington – Gold Coast Bank presented Huntington Supervisor Frank P. Petrone with a Lifetime Achievement Award June 22, citing the Supervisor’s “outstanding dedication and public service to the businesses and residents of Long Island.”
John Tsunis, founder, chairman and chief executive officer of the Islandia-headquartered bank, presented the award to Supervisor Petrone during a reception at the bank’s Huntington Village branch. Mr. Tsunis traced Supervisor Petrone’s distinguished public career, which has included posts at the federal and county level, as well as the past 24 years as Town supervisor. Also speaking was Gold Coast Bank president and chief operating officer James Johnis, and Brian Yudewitz, chairman of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce.
In his remarks, Supervisor Petrone thanked the bank and spoke of some of his proudest accomplishments and well as delivering a call to continue making progress in the future.
