Readers' Theatre Improv

(Class has not resumed as of yet)

Place: Senior Center
Room: Room 108
Day: One Tuesday or Wednesday
Time: 1:45 pm

Readers' Theatre Improv is like an old radio show. Members bring in original or selected plays, scenes, poems, books, movies, or monologues to read or perform together. Members volunteer their talents and are respected for whatever they bring or do. We perform improvisation exercises, which are excellent for improving memory and quick thinking. No memorization required.

Instructor’s Biography: Milton Bloch is the founder of Readers' Theatre Improv. He is a dentist by profession, as well as a playwright and musician. He has performed on stage, and played in violin quartets. He is a Professor at NYU, and is on the Long Life Learning Faculty of Queens College. He leads a group, “Current Events”, at the Huntington Library’s main branch.
