Lunch at the Senior Center

Dining Room open 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. 
Hot Lunch is served Monday-Friday, Noon-1:15 pm. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Kitchen closes at 1:15 pm.

Registrations are conducted between 11:00 am - 12:30 pm. There is a $3.00 suggested, voluntary, anonymous contribution per meal. 

The Senior Center’s daily luncheon menu offers a hot, well-balanced, nutritious meal, approved by Suffolk County Office for the Aging Dietitians. There is a suggested voluntary anonymous contribution of $3.00 for ages 60 and over. There is a $8.00 fee for guests under the age of 60 who accompany a senior.

SCOFA mandates our staff complete registration forms for all those Suffolk County residents over 60 years old who wish to have a meal at the Senior Center. It will only take 10 minutes and the meal will be well worth it! Registration forms must be renewed and updated annually, beginning April 1st of every year.

The Nutrition Center is sponsored by the Town of Huntington with funding provided by U.S. Administration for Community Living through New York State Office for the Aging and Suffolk County Office for the Aging.

The Older Americans Act of 2006, encourages a suggested voluntary anonymous contribution equal to the actual cost of the service for participants with self-declared incomes at or above 185% of the federal poverty level. For 2024, 185% of the federal poverty level is $27,861 for a household of one, and $37,814 for a household of two.
