The Town of Huntington requires a certificate of approval from an "authorized inspection agency" for all electrical work done (recently or in the past) where such work was performed in conjunction with a building permit issued by the Town. It is also part of the requirement for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy. 

The Town of Huntington does NOT conduct electrical inspections. The permit holder is responsible for hiring an inspector from one of the authorized inspection agencies to conduct the electrical inspection and issue final certificate of approval.
