Northport – The Huntington Highway Department expects to pave Larkfield Road
and roads in Greenlawn and Elwood over the next two weeks, weather-permitting.
Sections of
Larkfield Road in East Northport will be milled and paved, weather permitting,
between July 15 and July 17. The Town Board recently accepted payment from
National Grid for their share of the cost to repave sections of the road where
they finished installing new gas lines. These sections of Larkfield Road run
from Cedar Road to Meadowlark Road and Garfield Place to Pulaski Road. Please
expect delays during this time. National Grid still has major utility work to
do in the other areas of Larkfield Road. Questions can be directed to the

The Highway
Department has released their paving schedule for the next two weeks starting
July 15 for Town roads in Greenlawn and Elwood (attached). As the day-to-day
schedule may change depending on multiple factors, including weather, specific
paving dates for each road cannot be provided.
