Smithtown – On Friday June 8,
Huntington Town Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci was honored by Federation of
Organizations as Man of the Year at the organization’s annual Senior Volunteer
Recognition Luncheon at Stonebridge Country Club.
Supervisor Lupinacci recognized the
Federation of Organizations for their important work in the community:
“Generations that follow should learn from the example you set. Your selfless
work makes an enormous difference in the lives of those you serve and the
reward is making our community a better place to live and improving our
society, making us all better people.”
Federation of Organizations’ Senior
Volunteer Recognition Luncheon honors volunteers participating in their Foster
Grandparent and Senior Companion programs, which enrich the lives of senior
citizens in our community by keeping them active and engaged. Federation
of Organizations also collaborates with community leaders and healthcare
providers to educate and motivate people to improve their health.
Supervisor Lupinacci pledged his
support for the organization and wished for its continued success.
