The Department of Environmental Waste Management would like to advise all residents about the changes to Trash Pickup and Recycling Schedule for the Thanksgiving Holiday. There is no scheduled trash pickup on Thursday, November 26, 2015.
Pickup is unchanged before the holiday. Garbage is being collected on Monday and Tuesday as per the regular schedule. "All In One" recycling is being collected on Wednesday, November 25, 2015.
Pickup after the holiday has moved back one day for all residents. Thursday trash pickup routes will be collected on Friday, November 27, 2015. Friday garbage routes will be collected on Saturday, November 28, 2015. Trash collection can begin as early as 6:00 A.M. so please have your garbage out before this time.
We would also like to remind all residents that yardwaste is being collected this week, but due to the excess volume of bagged leaves coming from fall clean ups that their scheduled yardwaste day will vary. All residents will receive their weekly yardwaste pick up, but it can be any day Monday through Saturday. We appreciate your patience during this time.
Finally residents are advised that the Town's Recycling Center will be closed on Thursday and Friday, but will be open during its normal operating hours on Saturday, November 28, 2015.
