Councilwoman Susan A. Berland spoke on the Town's behalf at the April 16 Islip Planning Board hearing on the Heartland project. Councilwoman Berland expressed the Town's concern that the latest version listed Commack Road as a major access into the development and did not speak about necessary infrastructure improvements and how they would be funded.
