Welcome to the website for the Town of Huntington Department of Parks and Recreation. We welcome our residents to visit our beautiful parks, pools and recreational facilities. Throughout the year we provide new and exciting programs and events at our facilities.

We have a wide variety of recreational programs for our residents of all ages, from preschoolers to senior citizens at our town operated facilities, parks and beaches. From instructional programs and sports leagues to public ice skating and summer camps, there is something for everyone. As these programs vary seasonally, check our website to keep up to date on our upcoming program activities and events.

We offer a resident Recreation /Golf I.D. cards which offer discounts on Parks & Recreation Department programs, admission to the ice rink, swimming pool, Town of Huntington golf courses, and free entry into the spray park.

Check your Recreation ID Cards for your expiration date.  You can renew at the Dix Hills Ice Rink office or the Parks & Recreation office at Town Hall.  Make sure you bring your driver’s license and another proof of name and address.

We can no longer refund the difference if you register for any activities or camps without a current recreation card and purchase or renew a recreation card after registration is completed.

There are NO REFUNDS for Camps or Activities unless the Department of Parks and Recreation cancels the program. Programs conducted at school facilities are subject to cancellation or change by the school district.
