Beach Stickers for Seniors

Dear Resident:

This year the Town of Huntington will once again be distributing free beach stickers to senior citizens and persons with disabilities.  Please note the following.

Senior Citizens (60 years +) do not need to fill out the enclosed application.  Seniors will be required to obtain their free beach stickers at Centerport Beach, beginning on Memorial Day weekend and continuing throughout the summer, between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, seven days a week.  You need only present your driver’s license and registration, since as a Senior Citizen you are already entitled to a free beach sticker and there are no income requirements. Remember only one sticker per person is allowed.  Once you get your sticker at Centerport Beach, it can be used at all Town Beaches.

Disabled Individuals under 60 years of age with a limited income will be required to fill out the application, (Click here for PDF copy of the Beach Sticker Application form.) and return it to the Disability Resource Center, room 105, 100 Main Street, Huntington NY 11743.  Incomplete applications will not be approved.  Once the application is approved your beach sticker will be sent to you through the mail as soon as they become available from Parks and Recreation.  Because of the increased demand for beach stickers we must reserve the free stickers for persons who have limited income.  Please refer to the chart below:
